Life drawing was intriguing today as we had to look at props instead of drawing the body. This first image was interesting as we had to go around the classroom and draw something on everyone’s paper on what we saw or complete the drawing.
The contrasts of colours made this art interesting because it gave emotions on what we felt when looking at the props in the middle, for example; it was busy and all over the place, noisy, it was something creative and colourful and had many things that looked like it was about to collapse. Overall, it was an interesting experiment.

This drawing had 3 steps; the First step, was to create a silhouette which you can see on the left-hand side. The second step, the light was used so I could add colour to show the shading/ contrasts. The last step was to draw another object, however, I decided to draw all of the objects to make it look more fascinating.
I think this was another interesting experiment as I have not done something like this before, it made me more expressive and not apologetic when drawing lines/ lines that are not supposed to be there.

We had fifteen minutes to look at one piece of an object and elaborate on what we saw. I used a HB pencil to create shadows which produced contrasts to make it more realistic. Making it realistic was almost successful, however, if I had more time I would focus more on the background and giving the cloth more weight by showing the floor.
In conclusion, this was a successful experiment and made me step out of my comfort zone and just go with the lines I have and create something not expected.
