Hey Divine, You may have seen my comment on your concept art - which I saw before I saw your OGR post. Just to recap then - I think Angie Lewin would be much happier with your approach here - this sense of a more aerial city and also the location etc. As suggested, I encourage you to think about how the matte painting might be pushed to show us more of the city - to show us a greater sense of the scale and scope of your what-if metropolis. My other advice is the same as given to many of your classmates - to keep looking at real world reference as you start thinking about the little details that will enhance your models - so really thinking about how the windows are recessed into the material of your facades, really thinking about what everything is made of and how it might be held together - for example, when you look at all those curved surfaces of your buildings, are those surfaces created from panels, or veneered wood?
Start thinking about the 'real world' stuff that will make your job as a modeller and texture artist more focused and stop your digital set looking as if Maya alone constructed it :)
